A Quick and Easy Treat
What You Need
- 1 box Peanut Butter Chex (about 6 cups)
- 4 Tablespoons butter
- 1 bag of marshmallows (about 5 cups)
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
Directions
Spray a 13×9 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Pour cereal in a large bowl.
In a large microwave safe bowl combine butter, marshmallows, and peanut butter. Melt together in microwave. Microwave for about 1 minute at a time stirring often until the ingredients are combined and easy to stir. It needs to be warm when poured over the chex to make it easy to mix.
Pour the marshmallow mixture over the chex and stir quickly to coat the cereal. Scrape the cereal into the prepared baking dish. Spray some non-stick cooking spray on your hands and press the cereal firmly into the pan. Let it cool before cutting.
